Welcome to Bill and Karen Evenden's New Oak Ranch,
a family farm committed to growing quality lavender,
Ojai Pixie Tangerines, olives and walnuts.
Located in rural southern California, less than 20
miles from the Pacific, the setting is definitely Mediterranean
spectacular mountains, brilliant sunshine, clear
blue skies and generous soil. Surrounded by national
forest and large ranches, our 24 acres provide perfect
pastoral serenity.
Using ecologically responsible farming methods, we
cultivate all of our crops with the consumer in mind.
We believe that we are merely short-term caretakers
of the land and respect the soil, air and water upon
which we, and future generations, depend.
Our goal is to produce exceptional lavender products,
superior olive oil, sweet and petite Ojai Pixie tangerines
and tasty walnuts under the watchful eyes of visitors
to our ranch.
We invite you to visit New Oak Ranch for U-Pick Lavender during
the lavender season (mid-June through end of July) ...
to learn more about how we grow, harvest and use lavender
and to pick your own beautiful bunch!
