Last year we were frustrated with Mother Nature because she was so slow in delivering our olive crop. We did forgive her because the oil was fabulous!
This year however we are even more frustrated as we have NO olives…therefore there is NO olive oil (see below for what remains from the 2009 amd January 2011 crop). Apparently cold weather, wind and/or rains created the perfect storm last spring when the fruit should have set. We now have our fingers really crossed for a fabulous crop in 2012.
